It is also responsible for maintenance of the parks in the Village on Poplar Road and Fords Avenue with both parks leased from NELC.\u00a0 The Parish Council owns the Healing Moated Settlement Site which sits between the end of Lucas Court and the end of Clematis Avenue and is a local environmentally protected green space.\u00a0 The Parish Council also owns Cornflower Copse at Cornflower Close and also land at the end of Quantock Gardens adjacent to Stallingborough Road.\u00a0 Again, these are managed locally by the Parish Council.<\/p><p>The Parish Council also leases Porri&#8217;s Wood from NELC and maintains that and also owns, on behalf of the village of Healing, the Cenotaph situated at the junction of The Avenue and Low Road.\u00a0 An outdoor service is held here each year on
